Along with our joint-venture partners, Peter Brown Construction, ONE DAY CAME transformed the historic Alatex Building, once an old textile factory serving soldiers during WWII, into a state of the art educational facility that is now the home of the Florida A&M University PharmD program and provides health care services to the community of Crestview, Florida. The 40,000 square foot facility houses two floors of conventional classrooms, smart classrooms, medical labs, and administrative offices. The preservation of the existing brick shell and the re-purposing existing wood for the lobby floors and walls makes this project unique in nature. The renovation was completed in the heart of downtown Crestview which required the on-site team to place a lot of effort into coordination and logistics planning.
